Training

1. Youth Bible School, YBS: This training programme is designed to empower and help young people make wise and healthy choices that honour God and their families. YBS runs two major courses; Basic course and Advance/Leadership course. At the Lagos headquarters, these courses are held annually during summer vacation. YBS is also organized in various chapters/centers of YDI with approval and supervision from the headquarters.

Objectives
• To develop them spiritually, mentally and socially.
• To equip them with leadership skills and ideals.
• To help them discover their God-given gifts and how to utilize same.
• To help them maximize their time and season.

2. Children and Youth Workers Training, (CYWT): This programme is designed to empower child/youth handlers with skills required to develop and impact children/youths. It is also packaged to recharge ministers, renew their passion for young ones.

Objectives
• To equip participants with child/youth development skills.
• To make participants develop a sense of mission, purpose, and direction in children and youth work.
• To identify challenges facing children and youth workers and how to combat them.
• To enhance the productivity of child/youth workers.
